Marriage is the public declaration of love between two people and a commitment to each other for life.

Each ceremony should reflect the individual personalities of each couple as much as the uniqueness of their relationship. This is reflected in the individual couple’s love story and commitment. I am able to assist couples in any way possible to ensure their ceremony is meaningful, enjoyable and memorable.

I support Marriage Equality and December 9th 2017 will be a day remembered by the LGBTQI+ and wider Australian community. I celebrate that all couples can commit to a future together and share in the joy of being married in Australia.

If you choose me as your wedding celebrant you will need to consider the following:

Before our first meeting:

  • Decide on a wedding date

  • Contact me for an appointment (By law this appointment must be made at least one month before the wedding to complete documentation)

  • Consider the style of ceremony you would like, such as formal, casual or thematic

  • Locate each of your birth certificates or passports and if previously divorced, your official divorce document

  • Ask two people over the age of 18 to be your witnesses

At our first meeting and working toward the ceremony

  • I will sight required documentation and together we will complete the Notice of Intended Marriage

  • We will discuss the ceremony together, including examples of vows

  • You will pay a deposit and arrange a rehearsal date.

  • I will draft the ceremony after our initial meeting and discuss this with you both

  • Arrange a rehearsal day or evening at the venue or location of choice

  • Complete all legal documentation

On your wedding day

  • You will have a fabulous celebration of your love!

  • You will sign and have witnessed legal documents and you will be presented with your Certificate of Marriage.

I will register your marriage and submit all appropriate documentation to NSW Registry of Births Deaths and Marriages.

Your day is very special. As such, I will only book one wedding a day.
